This is us, we book our trips, and if Free dining comes, great, we just saved $1000. If NOT, still going on vacation, still staying at the resort we want to, still doing the dining plan. I budget for the cost of the trip INCLUDING dining, and if I save the $1000 because of FD, it just goes back into the bank towards the cost of the next Disney Trip. So basically, either way I win!
