Protein bars are a must! I like to keep a couple in my bags just in case my blood sugar drops and I or one of the kids start to get "hangry" . When we fly we bring goldfish, pop tarts, crackers, things that I can take to the parks too.

We drive so we pack a bag with lots of snacks and drinks, these are some of the things we like to keep handy in the room to eat or snack on during our vacation.

Case of water
Case of cokes or canned beverages
Cranberry juice/orange juice/V8 juice (individual bottles)
Shelf stable soy milk
Box of cereal
Granola
Peanuts or mixed nuts
Pretzels
Animal Craclers
Savory Crackers
Cookies
Tortilla chips
Salsa
Instant Oatmeal that comes in a microwaveable container (run water through the coffee pot to make this or go to the microwave in the hotel, whichever you prefer).
Bread
Ham or Trukey (for sandwiches)
Mustard/Mayo
Hard Cheese (blocks)
Bagels
Cream Cheese
Snack cakes

Keep in mind we don't take all of this every time, but these are general things we take to have in the room in case we want them. Since we drive anything we don't use we just take it back home with us.

We are DVC, usually in a 1bdrm so we order from gardengrocer.com and usually get

Chocolate Milk
Bottled water
Bread
PB & Jelly
Butter
Bagels
Goldfish
chips/salsa
fruit snacks
strawberries/apples
yogurt
Coke Zero
Ziplock baggies
Paper Plates
Diapers/Wipes

We've tried buying more to cook in the room but honestly i don't enjoy cooking on vacation and we'd rather go out so I don't waste the food or money.

We bring the same, but wanted to add that we ship a box down before we get there. It works out well since we fly. A big hit that I did last time was velevetta and rotel tomatoes with chilies. We stay in villas, so I just popped it into the microwave. The kids loved it with chips. I also packed some dry soup mixes - like Bear Creek. It was a nice dinner.

We used to bring sandwiches & tons of different snacks & one time a baked ham meal with side dishes..but over time we realized we were spending too much time & money on junk food from home. It was just getting out of hand.
These days we bring cereal & milk for breakfast. Drinks alone can save big bucks, our list includes: power aid, diet sprite, diet mountain dew, & water; beer & mixed drink supplies.

I have about a dozen food allergies and basically all snacks at Disney are off limits so I bring:

GF cocoa rice cereal
GF ric Krispy treats
GF cookies
GF/nut free popcorn
GF (and allergy friendly) bread
Fruit bowls and dried fruit (can't eat raw fruit)
Water
Gatorade (power aide has coconut oil...allergic to it)
GF and allergy friendly cake pops
Surf sweet gummy worms and gummy bears (GF, nut free, vegan, etc)

I think that's about it. We brought an entire suitcase worth of food for me last trip because we were not sure of the accomodations Ith the number of allergies I have but I ended up only eating like 1/4 of the food we brought so in June we will bring a lot less.

Last trip we stayed offsite in a one bedroom villa at Westlake Town Center and this trip will be in a one bedroom villa at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, so have a rental car and make a run to SuperWalmart or Publix. Items we like:

1/2 gallon orange juice
1/2 gallon milk
Dr Pepper
Mt Dew
wine coolers
Coffee
cereal
Pop Tarts
1/2 dozen eggs
bacon
bread
bagels
cream cheese
grapes
plums
oranges
berries
beef jerky
mixed nuts
baby carrots
chips
hummus
trail mix
pudding pacs

may pick up a bag of salad mix and a couple of potatoes and steaks or chops to cook on the outside grill one night and relax by the pool

We'll also have the dining plan, but its nice to have a few things in for after parks to watch TV or sit on your balcony.

We always rent a car so we make a grocery stop on our first day unless we have a late arrival, in that case we use Garden Grocer.

Milk
Fruit, usually apples and bananas
Applesauce
Yoghurt
Cereal
Pop tarts
Pastries or doughnuts
Crackers or chips
Pepsi products for DH

Breakfast tends to be in our room.

Quoting myself to elaborate since folks are talking about how they get the food.

I brought drink stixs (sf lemonade), my VIA, my peanut butter packs and my mini bagels and luna bars in my suitcase with me.

Once in Orlando (I get a rental car) I made a walmart run for a case of water, a gallon of Distilled water, the cheezit's, and a few souvineers.

In the past I've also bought beer and milk and breakfast stuff, but I didn't buy beer this time, and already had stuff at home so didn't see reason to buy more when it didn't cost or take up much room to bring it with. I was also split staying so didn't want to have to schlep milk in between hotels.

I bought the milk at the resorts. (cost more buying by the quart but worked better for me) I also bought various candy/treats at the resort and speciality shops on site.

My friend who met me in Orlando brought oatmeal packs with her, and she shared the stuff I had.

I would say I could do without the walmart run except for the water. But since I prefer breakfast on the run, I really like bringing or buying items for the room.
