Do the soda fountains onboard also have water?

We are big water drinkers and wanted to know if we should buy some bottled waters to bring onboard or if we can just bring our mugs onboard and fill them up with water from the fountain?

Yes, all the ships have water. They have fountain soda and HI-C (some kind of non-carbonated drink) so there is carbonated water and non carbonated water available.

The cruise ship filters their own water and it is as good if not better than bottled water. We refilled water bottles on our cruise. We did not buy bottled water after our first cruise. The water on the ship tastes just fine.

Bring your own mugs! Nothing better than a giant, ice cold water while lounging on the deck.

We don't drink soft drinks at all. Those things are so bad for you!! You can get water out of the soda fountain. In the MDR's they offer some sort of filtered spring water for around $3, but we just get the regular free water
