Mnsshp ?
planning first family trip with DH and DS (8 at time of trip) for October. don't think i'm doing park hopper passes...just gonna pick a park a day and enjoy it. staying on site, so plan on mid-day break back at resort then back to park to finish exploring or ride something again. my ? is if i purchase tix for MNSSHP do i need to do so on my MK day? or can i visit a different park for the day and then go in when the party starts?

You could do AK in the morning and then enter MK at 4 PM (usually) with your party ticket.

One thing to check is what time you are arriving at WDW and is there a party that day. We often arrive around noon on a party day and just check-in, get something to eat, unpack, relax a little and then get ready to head to MK around 3:00-3:30 PM. Saves a park day on the tickets and gets us our MK fix on the first day
