I just can't figure why it's stated in that particular way.

What is the significance of saying the phrase
"Keep Calm and Dole Whip"

and not something like,

"I don't get whipped up about anything...
Except for a DOLE Whip!"
"Keep Calm and Carry On", from WWII. Why variations of this phrase have exploded in popularity in recent months defies my explanation at least.

Agreed.

I {heart} Dole Whip

would make more sense and be easier to understand to the CMs

Actually, I think "Keep calm and carry on" was the genesis of all those types of phrases. It was a propaganda phrased used by the British government during WWII when the war was going badly.

I love Dole whips, but I have no idea what connection they have to that phrase, nor to that website.

There isn't a connection, it's just a popular meme that has spread over the last few months. Here in the UK there are countless variations on shirts, bags, posters etc everywhere you look, you just change the wording to "keep calm and ....." and fill in the rest for whatever you like

Thank you, because I always thought it sounded a bit off.

Ah Robo, join the club. It's something the younger set is doing. I don't know anything about where it originated, but my DD and all her friends have an app that generates Keep Calm sayings. They are all Keep Calm and ... Insert something here. I don't quite get it but again, I'm the Mom, I'm not supposed to get it.

I do see the cuteness of the shirt based on the existence of the Keep Calm phenomenon.

I found it (I think)

dont worry about breaking rules, I just simply googled "Keep Calm And Dole Whip shirt" and it was the first link (under the sponsored box)

just for clarification....did the site url start with a certain color and 'bubble'?

No need to speak in "code."

You can post the link on the boards unless the site exists for some illegal purpose.

It's against the rules to try to sell items, yourself, directly on the boards.

(BTW, if you try to post a link and it's letters turn into "********," then that specific site
has been excluded from being posted here by the powers that be.)

How do you dole a whip?

Dole Whip is a noun, not a verb, silly. I'd like one that says "Keep calm and eat a Dole Whip" though. Makes much more sense!
