Thanks everyone! I'm gonna call and see if I can get reservations. I have reservations at rainforest cafe, but if we can get in here I think I might cancel them and maybe do tusker house instead.

What is a Landry's select card?

It is a reward card.... Plus it gets you priority seating! For every $250 you spend at a restaurant ( believe it includes merchandise also) you get a $25 reward certificate ( paperless- iris on your card) give them your card and it will come off your bill

It is rewards card. It does cost $25 but they load that onto your card so it is free. Also get $25 birthday reward good in your birthday month and I think 15 days into the next month. We always go in March which is my birthday month so it is like getting $25 free!

Thanks! I live in south Louisiana and it looks like they have no participating restaurants in a 50 mile radius of me. Guess that's why I'd never heard of it!

We visit TRex each trip we make and never had reservations before. Longest we have waited was 20 minutes or less. We joined the Select club last month on our trip to Chicago for $25 and it currently has $50 on it (Birthday is this month) for our trip in 10 days. I recommend joining even though we dont have a Landry's restaurant within 100 miles from us it more than pays for itself in one visit.

I also have no Landry restaurants around me. I use the card primarily for my disney trips. It's worth it.

Quick question, if I sign up and get the $25, and then also get $25 more for my birthday, can I use all $50 during my birthday visit?

Yes you can. Once you purchase the card and login update your birthdate and you will see the $25 in rewards on your account. Then the $25 birthday reward added on top of that will give you $50 in active rewards to be used the next time you use your card.

The primary problem with America is stupidity. Maybe we should just take all the warning labels off and let the problem solve itself.

Do you need to use the card within a certain time frame? With a March birthday, and my trip not until June 2014, will it still be good? Will it still accumulate?

Can you join and use this card immediately or do you have to wait for them to mail it? We are heading to WDW on Friday. Thanks!

Happy birthday from ánother March birthday girl. Your birthday reward is valid for your birthday month and 15 days after. So it would expire April 15. We always go in March so it works for me.

I checked the website. It says you can purchase a card at the restaurant. But you have to register it online. You can probably do it on your phone?!
