Breakfast with the Grinch - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi everybody!

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I'm planning a late November/early December trip to Disney, Universal and Sea World with my family and have a question about the Breakfast with the Grinch at Islands of Adventure. Does Universal allow people to book a breakfast before park opening like Disney does? The park looks like it'll be opening at 9:00, and I really want to do the breakfast, but I don't want to take away from park time since we only have one day at IoA. I was hoping we could possibly do breakfast at 8:00 so we could be done by 9:00.

Any other comments/reviews of this breakfast are greatly appreciated as well!

Select dates (reservations recommended):
Dec 1-2, 6-9, 13-31, 2012 at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, and 10:00 am

2012 Children (ages 3-9):
$10.99 plus tax & gratuity, per person

Discounts available for Premier and Preferred Passholders.

I'm curious on this as well. Are we able to go for the 8am reservation if we're not staying on property? We would be taking a transfer from a Disney resort... and I'm not sure when those start moving either. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

That was my issue as well. We're staying off property and have a rental car, but I wasn't sure if just anybody could book an 8am before the park opens or just people staying at Universal hotels with early entry access could book it and everybody else would need to do a later one.
