Strange AKL question...

When we went to Disney for the first time two years ago we started off at PoP - my husband did not like it there and we moved over to Wilderness Lodge. The arcade at Pop had the game Mario Kart in the arcade but Wilderness Lodge did not - he was disappointed about this and still brings it up (not that we were in the arcade for more than 30 minutes the whole trip). We are staying at AKL in August and was wondering if they might have the game Mario Kart there? That would be a great surprise for him when we get there!

I do not recall seeing it there when we stayed last September.

If they don't, experience the fun of going to another resort's arcade! We traveled to AOA for their arcade and it was a nice adventure!

Bring the Wii and controller and game, if it's so important.

Not so important, just curious...like I said, we didn't spend more than 20-30 minutes at the arcade for the 15 days that we were there.

DS is a Mario fan and I don't recall it being at the AKL arcade during our stay Fall of 2011.

Maybe your DH would like Disney Quest? There are a variety games some new and some retro!

Oh well, thanks for letting me know - I appreciate it! We'll be too busy anyway! I was wondering about Disney Quest because we have the water parks and more pass, but there is just so much to do...I don't know if I want to take time out to go there! We will see! I was just curious about the Mario Kart since it made such a big impression on him last time at Pop Century - we've never seen it anywhere else.

the arcade at pop has more "retro" arcade games becauseof the resort's theme (pop culture) . I seem to recall the arcade at WL was one of the worst. the value and moderate resorts tend to have better arcades than the deluxe. (although back in the 90's the CR had one of the best. not so much anymore).

I liked the floor of disney quest with the 70s and 80s arcade games (quebert, space invaders, mr. do, dig dug, donkey knog, etc) but I don't think I'd waste the time there again.

everytime we stay at pop, I intend on using the arcade, but we never find the time. too much else to do. (ioncluding relaxing and reading by the pool)
