Can anybody recommend any unique restaurants in both New York and Los Angeles that are worth a visit for a family with children ?
Maybe themed of just really good food :-)

Hi, I'd recommend Ellen's Stardust Diner in NYC. It's right on the corner of Broadway and 51st Street. It is only a diner, but the food is decent and all the waitstaff are singers and dancers, some of them out of work actors. Every so often one or another will burst into song. We had a waiter come and sing the theme from The Love Boat to our daughter. Such fun!!
