Transportation to Deluxe Restaurants when Staying at Moderates

I think the previous poster was just pointing out that there's no need to go all the way to DTD or the TTC to eat at a MK or Epcot area resort. For 'Ohana I would just get the bus to MK and get the monorail over to the Poly. For an Epcot resort I'd get the bus to Epcot and then walk over to wherever we're eating.

To the OP, we nearly always have breakfast on our first day at the Poly and we've never stayed there. We just get a really early bus to MK and then get the monorail over. On some occasions the bus driver has just asked us if we're getting breakfast in one of the MK resorts and has dropped us off right at the Poly (although I wouldn't depend on this happening).

For Epcot resorts that only works if you have hoppers, or if Epcot is your park that day. Otherwise you'd have to take the bus to DHS, then take the boat or walk to the Epcot Resorts. Either way, it's a pretty long journey.

Or you can spend $20 and about an hour less time and get their by taxi.

Disney suggests you budget 90 minutes to get from point A to point B using their transportation. Because you can never tell when for sure a bus is coming, and how long it will take until one shows up, and how long it will take to transfer. With a taxi, you have them pick you up 30 minutes before your ADR. No fuss, no muss, no waiting and hoping that you didn't just miss the bus you need.
