Pin Trading Night DLRP 29th March 2013

This will be our 1st time @ DLRP when there is a pin trading night
What is the low down on these evenings as I cannot find out much about them.
My autistic daughter cannot wait but I dont want to turn up at 6pm to find it jam packed full of people that have queued up for a couple of hours

Any info much appreciated

The next event is on March 29th at the Yellow Rose Dance Hall at Hotel Cheyenne. I would suggest you get there nice and early to ensure your place in the queue. Before the doors open a CM will come along the line giving out a pass to ensure you get the LE pin that is released on that day.

There are normally games and completions where you can win DLP pins.

There is also a Pin event on 4th May being held between 11am - 3pm at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel New York Convention Centre.

Tickets for the May event go on sale on the 18th March at a cost of 38 Euros per person which included a buffet brunch and the event is limited to 300 people. To book tickets you need to call 00 33 1 60 30 60 53

If your taking Disney Store UK pins to trade make sure you take them with their backing cards, the French collectors are keen to have the backing cards with the pin and will often refuse a trade if no card is with it.

If your in the parks at weekends some Pin traders gather at the Pueblo Trading Post located in the back of Frontierland to trade and chat.

Many thanks for this so you'd recommend getting there by 5pm at the latest??
I didn't know about the 4th May 2013 although we are there we have 2 extra people coming so not sure if we can make it. Would we get a discount with our annual passes??
Many thanks for your tips on the english pins I know we haven't got any of those.

Yes, you do get a discount. Just call your country's reservation hotline, they will book you in and give you the discount. The event poster advises to call France. But that's always a hassle and they refuse to give you the discount most of the time. Calling locally is way easier.
I've been BOO'd by fairykin!
