Kindle Fire Question about Downloading Books/Videos
I am at work today with my Kindle Fire and I wanted to download a book or two as well as a couple of movies for my Amtrak trip to Disney next week.
I usually don't have a problem doing this at work but for some reason the wireless isn't working too well today. I can do this when I get home but wondered if there is a way if I was on Amazon and under Manage My Kindle if I downloaded the movies/books, I would want it on my Device NOT in Cloud. Could I do this or do I have to wait to download it directly to my device.
I will not have internet on Amtrak in my Roomette so I want everything on my Device.
THANKS SOOO MUCH!

As far as I know, if you send a book or movie to your kindle, you will need some type of wi-fi to be able to get it directly to your device. I have had things on the Cloud and unless I had wi-fi, I could not read the book or view the movie.
It sounds like the wi-fi connection isn't strong enough. Once you have a good connection, when you turn on your device those items sent should automatically download.
Hope this helps.
