Wait- wgpe is a cs, so am I alone in that I don't expect "table service"? I mean, it's great and all, but I PLAN on getting my own refills, napkins, etc, whatever I may need, just like I would at any other cs??

Time for one update before I go to the Fine Arts Festival at my son's high school. This was our First Update of the Day sent to us this morning by DawnMeansAurora.


She and her family had dinner last night at...

Dawn said, "Forgot to take pics of the sign or the menu because I was shocked to check in 20 min. early and be seated right away. We shared a table with a nice family from Alabama who looked at me a bit oddly as I photographed our food but I just nodded at them knowingly and said "evidence for later. Just in case."




First up...




Iced Green Tea





"I ordered a salad for an appetizer. It was just plain iceberg mix with a gracious plenty of ginger dressing. It was tasty and cold, though the dressing was a bit oily."








"Dylan had the Miso soup and enjoyed it. There isn't much to Miso soup so it's hard to complain or compare."










"All three of us had the sirloin and shrimp combo..."











"I had put in a dietary request for no gluten and they were great to accommodate us with extra veggies instead of rice and gluten free soy sauce."













"Yo, our server, and Mai, our cook, were both attentive and excellent. Mai did all the usual Disney hibachi tricks including the volcano, the train, oil hidden Mickey. The food was perfectly cooked and tasty and for us, just enough."









"I was full when the dessert menu came so I just asked for hot tea..."







"The boys both had green tea cheese cake [no pic]. The serving size on that is just a sliver more than a slice, but for us it was just enough. They seemed to like them because they polished them off before I got a photo because I was busy being sung to and wearing a chef's hat for my birthday."





"I was brought a small dish of soft serve ice cream with a candle and after blowing it out I did manage to flip the candle in the air and and catch it in my chef's hat!"



"Teppan Edo is very similar to our local hibachi places but we love to go there too. It's easy to eat healthily there and we had a great meal and experience."

No I felt the same way!! They have some servers but they mostly deliver the food. They will help out when not busy but you should expect to get your own stuff?? I am not sure why the live reporter thought it was a restaurant where the servers serve you.

Yum! Green tea cheesecake must be new. When I was there they had some green tea flan. The cheesecake sounds awesome!
