Have you tried deleting your browsing history and searching again? Often times airlines will pull that tactic of raise the airfare if they know you're back again. This is Fran's suggestion from something she read on her deals sites. They know they have you if you have stopped by once and come back later.

We were originally booked to stay at ASMu until yesterday when a friend offered us his expiring points for an AKL studio! We are insanely excited for our first stay at AKL! Savannah view at the end of April for a quick 3 day getaway!

There would be 2 adults, 2 children & an infant. We're going to BC after for a couple of days, then a 3 day cruise, so I sort of like the idea of being able to spread out for a few days. I'm so torn b/t both options, though.

With 2 kids & an infant, the cruise & switch to BC, the washer & dryer in the unit alone would be worth the extra $200 to me!!

And I have to agree with everyone else - I also get the "whatever" (sarcastically) from DH when asking about Disney. Even sarcasm means YES in my book! It's usually followed by "you're giong to do whatever you want anyway."

I am Kidani....sorry I didn't post that earlier.

And for the airfares- the suggestions on here are spot on- clear the cookies or look from someone else's computer. Always look early on a Tuesday or Wednesday for best prices........

And if possible, always fly out Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. Those are the best dates for lowest fares.

My mother spent 35 years in the airline biz... .

It makes you "new". It's another way to search. When I'm searching, I'll use both fire fox and explorer, use one, minimize the other. I have been surprised a few times (infrequent, but often enough to make it worth trying it) to see different prices (or different flight times/routes) in different browsers.

And another option:
What follows below is a pretty good tip for for two adults...honestly, though, if I was booking more people, I'd just pay the difference. A little complication is fine, too much can be a mess.

When I travel it's just dh and me. I will occasionally find a great price for one ticket, but the second jumps the price. So, I'll open a second browser, and book them separately. I'll choose seats together, but they will be on separate reservation numbers. Note: this is a little tricky, so I have to really pay attention to detail, concentrate, make sure dates, flight #'s are the same. When I'm all done, I will call the airline and have them linked together. That way the airline "knows" we are travel companions. I have to keep an eye on them, especially if there's a change in flights. I check to see we are both on the new flight. (And if not, I call and nicely work to get us together.)
I also use this method if I'm booking one of us on points, the other on cash.

do you remember a while ago they had a whole story on the news about how sites were offering mac users different/more expensive offers that windows users? Not that you couldn't get the other offers but they weren't as prominently displayed as the more expensive ones...
