1. Separate check-in line at port (Galveston). When we were there the lines were long but in the concierge line there was only 1 family in front of us.
2. Separate waiting area at port. Not a big deal as it was just a roped off section but we didn't have to search for 5 seats together, which by the looks of it would have been difficult to find in the general waiting area.
3. First group to board ship. We were the 2nd or 3rd family to board.
4. Once on board, we were immediately led by a CM to the concierge reception where there was food and free drinks. We met our personal concierge Danny and were given a folder full of information and a personal itinerary made just for our family. We were given tickets to Tea with Alice without even asking and were able to check the kids into the clubs with a CM on a laptop (there will be lines for this if you do it at the port or on the ship). We were able to get answers to lots of questions quickly and at one place.
5. A treat was delivered to our room every afternoon (chips & salsa, cheese plate, dessert plate, etc.) I realize that we could have just ordered this stuff from room service but it was nice to be surprised every afternoon.
6. Bottled waters and sodas in our room when we arrived. We never asked for more so not sure if they would have been replenished had we asked.
7. Danny told us that we never needed to go to Guest Services for anything but to call him instead. When I wanted to apply some cash & gift cards to our account, he came to our room, took them from me and took care of it himself.
8. Priority tendering at Grand Cayman even though we had not booked a DCL excursion. He asked us the night before what time we wanted to leave the ship. He showed up at our door at that time the next morning (called first) and escorted us directly to the tenders - no waiting in the theatre to get a ticket, wait for your number to be called, etc.
9. Able to order hot breakfast to our room which we did every morning and it was delicious. Regular rooms can only order cold items.
10. Able to order from MDR menus for dinner (Palo only for the Royal Suites). If you want to do this you need to ask for a menu earlier in the day because the menus change every night. Breakfast menu was the same all week.
11. Private reception towards the end of the cruise where we were able to meet Mickey without standing in a line. He just walked around to all of the tables while we enjoyed food & more free drinks.
12. The last day, Danny brought us a large limited edition lithograph made especially for concierge guests. It was really neat.
13. Danny checked on us twice a day to see if we needed anything - he was always so easy to find when we did need something.
14. One day we came back to the room to find that he had left arcade cards for the kids.
15. Robes in the room. 2 white ones for adults and 3 small pink ones for our girls - even the right sizes! They were sooooo comfortable.
16. Able to order room service breakfast on the last morning before leaving the ship, though only cold items this time. Regular rooms cannot order room service at all that morning.

That is all I can remember right now although I am sure I am forgetting something. Sorry if this is too much info but we had an amazing experience and felt that it was well worth the money.
Thank you for your review. We are on a sailing out of Galveston (Our first cruise ever!) this April. We booked the two bedroom suite and it is great to hear of all these nice perks. If you do not mind me asking, was your cruise the 8 day? Tea with Alice is only on the longer cruises, is that correct? Just asking because ours is a shorter cruise but DD would LOVE tea with Alice if it is offered. Thanks.

We were on a 6 day and we had Tea with Alice so I am pretty sure you will have it. If you are not automatically given tickets at the concierge reception, be sure and ask for them and I'm sure they will get them for you right away. Also, since you are on the Magic, you MUST MUST MUST request Danny to be your concierge. I cannot express how awesome he was. You can call shoreside concierge a couple of weeks before you sail and request him.

Another perk I forgot to mention in my original post is that you will get 100 free minutes of internet. The instructions will be in the folder you get at the concierge reception. We didn't ever try to use it though, so I cannot say anything about the speed or reliability.

Great! Thank you so much!! I will request Danny. My youngest son will get a kick out of it (His name is Danny!) It is my oldest son's birthday while we are on the ship so we are excited about celebrating on board! Thanks again for all your tips.
