Stroller Rental Delivery to Windsor Hills? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We are renting a town home in WH in October. I would like to take advantage of the Apple Scooter stroller deal, but when I called to ask how delivery works to an off-site property, they told me it will be left at the WH clubhouse and we pick it up there. Has anyone done that before? I just want to make sure it works okay to do that. Is there a bell services desk or concierge or someone there? Thanks!

There is a Guest Relations at Windsor Hills Clubhouse. You can get more information at www.windsorhillsmaster.com, the official website, and there you can call Guest Relations and see what the process is. Hope that helps.

I would call and make sure. We have an owners locker down in Florida that we used to have delivered to the welcome center.

This time we had to give the exact home address because the welcome center was not allowing them to be dropped off there anymore.

Okay, I just finished figuring this out. I called WH clubhouse, and they said they have indeed changed their policy to not accept stroller rentals because their office is too small to hold all of them. She said to give the exact address we will be staying at to the rental company. I then called Apple Scooters back and asked again, telling them what the clubhouse told me, and this time they very clearly said to put the exact address and then be present to accept delivery (in total contrast to what I was told the first time!). Now, my only concern is whether the rental company will actually be allowed past the security gate to deliver it?? Is this not a problem? Maybe I'll call the clubhouse back and ask!

I have stayed in a rental home and Babies R Us actually had there delivery guy drop the items off to me at the home. I rented a stroller, crib, and a toy box. The only thing is you have to be there within there delivery time since they have to meet you personally.
