1st cruise Fantasy, just bookd Wonder for 2nd cruise but...

I am having second doubts. We went on our first cruise ever in Nov on the Fantasy. It was an incredible trip. We did the OBB and just moved to the cruise we (think) we want, the 5 night Sept 2014 Wonder. This cruise goes to Key West, 2x CC and Nassau. We were excited because we would like to see Key West and the kids loved CC. is hurricane season. My biggest fear is that the itinerary gets scrapped and we end up with sea days instead. My girls will be 11 and 9.
They loved the aquaduck and the detective agency on the Fantasy. While they only went to kids clubs mainly for specific acitvities, they did fine. We hung out by the pool and did some of the family activities. They saw all the characters, but I do not think this will be something they will want to do on this next cruise.

So.... Will they find the Wonder to be less exciting? I know any day on the ship beats being at home, but I find myself worrying that this might not be as great an experience. While we loved our first cruise, these will be an every few years type of vacation for our family so I want to make sure we choose wisely!!
Thanks for your thoughts and advice!!!

Due to budget reasons and needing to book two cabins we ONLY sail during hurricane season. And in the past if a port gets passed over because of weather then they add a lot more things on board to keep you going. Now a TON of folks were Disney could control the weather but for me and my family we could sail a full week to nowhere and never get off the ship.

Just FYI we have sailed during hurricane season 7 times and only 1 port was ever effected. And once a HUGE thunderstorm rolled in to CC around 2pm and everyone had to go back to the ship, but we had already had most of the day anyway.

We have been on both the Dream and the Wonder in late August. My kids liked them both. We were affected by Hurricane Irene in 2011 and missed a day at Castaway Cay, but that can also happen in non-hurricane season if it is too windy to dock.

We have now sailed on both the Magic and Fantasy and I found the experience on both ships to have a lot of similarities and they are quite comparable. Some things I like better and worse on either. So I wouldn't hesitate to go on the Wonder if it fits your plans, and a CC double dip is really appealing to me as well.
