Military Discounts

Can anyone link me to information about military discounts on cruises? I saw a reference in another post that Disney changed their policy and now a discount is only available for immediate family and one cruise. I can't find any other information. Thanks!

bottom of this page has info:

I believe that it used to be you could book 3 staterooms per cruise, but they recently changed it so now you can only book one stateroom per cruise.
The military member or spouse must also be traveling in the room.

HTH!

The recent rule is that it is only for immediate family and only one stateroom unless your immediate family requires two.

We're are eligible for the military discounts and usually travel in two rooms. DH and I in one and DD and DDs friend in the second. So, we book room A- for DH and daughter and room B- with Me and DDs friend.

Will this still be allowed (Dh has military ID and I have military dependent ID and can use this at WDW to get tickets at SOG wether he is with me or not)?

The recent rule change included a new option for the military spouse to book a cabin (and they have to be the one sailing.) Previously the military member had to sail in order to use the military offer. I love cruising, my DH not so much, so this was a great change for us!

It is my understanding that both the military member and spouse can each book a cabin on a cruise, but you could call DCL to confirm that. There are currently no military offers listed, however. I'm watching for them!

If you rebook while on board, can you transfer that to a military rate?

No - the military rate must be a new booking and no other offers apply to it.
