Cinderella's Royal Table or 1900 Park Fare?

Which is a better overall experience? Which has better food?
Will be paying out of pocket and it would be myself, my husband and 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son

We dined at CRT for breakfast after having gone to BBB and the meal was good,I read many negative reviews beforehand but we enjoyed everything. For us it was more about the experience of eating in the castle itself and getting some one on one time with each of the princesses as they come around to your table and let you take pics and give autographs.

Cannot yet comment on 1900 park fare as we have not done that, we are doing breakfast there this trip but it will not be the princesses.

We did CRT breakfast and loved it-everything about it. We also have done 1900 dinner and we will never do that again. Characters were really great but, the ambience and food were just horrible-really horrible.

We've done both and prefer 1900 Park Fare. We think the food is better and the character interaction is by far the best on property! Love the stepsisters. I enjoy the setting at CRT better, but didn't enjoy the food as well and for me, it's not worth the hype. We ate there twice, but never felt like it was spectacular. My girls (and me too) enjoy Akershus and 1900 Park Fare so much better.

The castle is cool and the princesses are the best but we thought the food was really icky.

I'd prefer akershus and 1900 Park Fair.

I was back and forth with the same question. I settled on 1900 Park Fare and can say we were disappointed and will not be going back. I have not tried CRT, but that is definitely on our agenda for our next trip. The food at 1900 Park Fare was disappointing and we weren't too crazy about the setting/environment. As much as I was always dying to stay at the GF and it has been one of my main Disney goals, I thought it was a bit stuffy. The only positives we had about 1900 PF were the step sisters and Lady Tremaine, but we weren't going to stick around long enough for them to get to our table. We were ready to leave.

We just ate in CRT for lunch for the first time and we are glad we did for the experience but will probably not do it again. It cost over $420 for the seven of us and not one of us loved our meal. My salad had 4 pieces of lettuce. We also ate in BOG for lunch duirng this trip and it cost about $100 for the seven of us and we loved the food there. I understand that you are paying for the experience but I wish the food was good. We loved Akershus the best but did enjoy Park Fare.

CRT is a must do breakfast every trip! Our 5 year old DD loves getting dressed up and seeing all the princess. She thinks it's so nice to tell everyone she has eaten in the castle. We have always enjoyed the food, love the danishes they serve with your meal.

1900...CRT is nice, but too expensive. 1900 has a nice breakfast selection and you don't feel so rushed.

We had a horrible dinner at 1900 in 2009. The character interaction was excellent, but food was HORRIBLE. I am not a picky eater and don't need anything fancy, but found everything really bad. I think I ended up eating bread, salad and ice cream. However, the character interaction and being in the Grand Floridian was neat.

We also ate breakfast at CRT. We LOVED it. Everything about it. The characters, the picture with Cinderella and the food. They will bring as much plates out as you want. The french toast was amazing. We also loved being in the Castle. We had an 8am breakfast and was done just before rope drop. That was neat also.

Hope this helps.

We ate dinner at 1900 Park Fare last month and the food was excellent. It sounds like it has improved since 2009. But the atmosphere is a little lacking. They really need to hold this dinner in a classier room.

We have never done CRT for one reason, the price. We have done 1900 PF and Akershus and loved both. I would have to agree with the other person that said the characters at 1900 are the best on property. You will meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Stepmother and both step sisters. Cinderella and Prince Charming even dance and then invite the kids to come dance with them. My daughters LOVED it! The buffet was good, not great. I would say better than Golden Corral but not as much variety. Plus you get to venture around the Grand Floridan which is amazing!
