Dining Assignment

How do we request a table just for our family? We have cruised several times now and would like to have a table for just the three of us. We have enjoyed most of our table mates but last cruise not so much.

I just called and requested it. They did honor our wishes, and we prefer to have family time on vacation.

I didn't realize that was an option. So you just call DCL to make that request?

Yes, call DCL and put in the request. No guarantee it will end up that way but they'll do their best of accommodate you.

We have always requested a 4 top and DCL has always (knock on wood) provided. Just call and let them know.

I have a party of three and we were surprised that on the Fantasy we were assigned to our own four-top table, no sharing. I did not make any requests.

We had our own table of 2 also with no request. There were some empty tables. Our servers said we were below capacity. That probably helps when dividing up the tables. It seemed like most groups had there own table!

Yup just a simple call, we requested a private table last cruise and got it, and we have our request in again for our 2 families future cruise.

We are a party of 4 adults, 2 children, and 1 infant. Will we be on our own table, or is there a possibility that others will be added to our table. This is our first cruise so I don't know how big the tables are.

Just off the Dream, full sailing according to the sign on the front desk, and they honored our request for table for two.

If your reservations are linked they will seat you together.

We have called and requested a table for just our table the last 4 out 5 cruises. It was honored each time and I have always verified it once getting onboard at the location set up for making dining changes just in case.

We've had a few ok table sharing situations and then one bad one. However, since our daughter came along, we always have our own table because she has multiple food allergies. It's much more relaxing for us that way, and I'm sure it would be no picnic for another family--we have to spend a ton of time talking about and planning meals with our head server.
