What should we plan to do once we board?

They let you into the port at 9:30, at Canaveral? And really on the ship at 11:00 in the 16th group?? It definitely wasn't later than that?? Just curious because we're cruising soon. LOL and want to get on asap to book some and change some stuff.

The port does not officially open until 11:00 so not sure how the above poster boarded at 11:00...boarding usually beings at 11:30 ish. On the 2/24 Dream it started around 11:20 or so. We were boarding group 1 and were onboard and done eating by 11:50.

Enchanted Garden is a buffet and the servers will bring you your drinks.

Cabanas is not a traditional buffet line but food stations that repeat throught the room. We saw many people walk in and just randomly get in a line. You are not supposed to do that. You go to the food station that you are interested in...you do not need to wait in a "line". We saw so many people waiting in line unnecessarily. CM's were trying to explain that you just go up to the station you want and get your food. Obviously is there are people in line for that particular food station you would have to wait but no reason to wait in a line before you get to the food station you want.

Our normal game plan is to walk into Cabanas and go through seeing what they have first. Then we grab a plate and go to the food stations that we want. Very easy process. the whole thing is repeated on the other side of the restaurant. Picture it as a horseshoe....you walk in on either side (depending if both sides or open or not) and if you keep walking you will see repeats of the food stations. there is a bar in the middle of the "horseshoe"...there is also outdoor seating.

I just wanted to mention this as at first Cabanas can be confusing but if you go and see what is there and then go to those food stations you will have no trouble. Also, the seating in the dark colored furniture gives you more space than the beige colored seating area.

That doesnt like the norm from what i've read. We have an 11-11:30 PAT. I was planning tto get there about 10:45 but if we can get on early i will go early.
