Looking to possibly buy Disney tix through AirMiles. Can someone please walk me through upgrading them to more days, no expiry etc?
Thanks John |

John, you just have to take your tickets to Guest Services before they are used up...we did it as soon as we could. They will apply the "face value" that you have paid and charge you the difference. I have heard someone here say that it's better to use a ticket once or twice first, though, otherwise they may give you a "discounted" value credit. Depends on what you're getting from AMs though. Do they send real tickets or vouchers?
Sorry I probably shouldn't have answered as my experience is limited, but I wanted to get the ball rolling for you at least!

There is a thread under Disney Trip Planning Forums called Everything about WDW tickets. It is a sticky so it is almost at the top. You can find out everything you need plus more about WDW tickets.

We got regular Disney tickets using air miles points. Use them at least one day before upgrading them. Just go to a ticket booth and they charge you the difference between what you have and what you want. Go on the Disney site and get an idea of what that difference might be. Get the ticket person in the booth to explain the charges just so that you know that they know what they're doing.

I ordered our tickets (5 day base) using Airmiles. They came within a few days of purchase. We got actual tickets that we used for the whole trip. After using them for a day, we decided we wanted to add the hopper and the waterparks and more option. I just took them to a regular ticket booth and they did it very easily-no questions asked. It was worth it! Not sure I would add the no expiry option though. Good luck!
