We've never stayed at POFQ, but we loved CBR. I think your younger DSs would love the pool. Our boys were 7 & 9 during our stay and they loved the pool (and it has been redone since our stay). We also loved the food court and thought the transportation was great. Good luck.

I have stayed at both. Like them both for different reasons. I find POFQ very quaint, I love the theming, and how compact it is. Also loved the boat to DTD. I stayed here with a group of girlfriends when I ran the half marathon.
We stayed at CBR last March. It is huge. They did not have any preferred rooms available when I booked ( we got in on the free dining last year) and while we weren't the farthest building, it was still a hike across the lake for coffee each morning. We LOVED the vibe of the place... Felt like we were really in a tropical place with the lake, beaches, and music. My boys also loved the kids pool. We spent a few afternoons there. So, I guess I am not much help. We would stay a both again. I would probably give the edge to POFQ if you plan to spend most of your time at the parks, and CBR if you plan to take advantage of the pools. |

My family always stayed at the CBR when we were kids. On my last trip we decided to try it again and then immediately remembered why we loved it and why we always stayed there. It was as if you were in a completely different world. We are from Indiana and staying at "another hotel" doesnt have any appeal for us. Something about the tropical theme, good food court, awesome pool, and always being around palm trees and water, makes the surrounding absolutely wonderful.
If you like to try different burgers, try the caribbean burger in the food court. I think i had three of them on my last trip. |
