Are there any cruises going to Key West now? That was the only itinerary there was a problem with in the past.

I don't know, right off-hand. I was just throwing that out there, in case it would apply.

Actually, the Alaska cruises out of Seattle had the same issue, with the second (and third, and fourth) ports being US ports. Not an issue now that they're back to sailing out of Vancouver.

Some of the repos may have had that same issue, too (leaving Vancouver to San Francisco). And I'm not sure what the second port was on the NYC cruises.

On the 5 night out of NYC the other ports were in Canada. I am not sure about the 8 night out of NYC.

Will anything happen or change? Will the cruise line even try contacting us? Not like I'm expecting a full refund or anything considering we already tried that.

Also worth mentioning we are Category VGT.
We had a very serious medical emergency in my family several days before a cruise. We were booked VGT, and with everything going on it never crossed my mind to call DCL. They did in fact call us close to the time of all aboard, and when they couldn't get a hold of me they called my emergency contact. I honestly can't tell you now if they refunded any port fees to us or anything. So yes, if you know you aren't going call the cruise line.

Thank you so much everyone for your support; it really means a lot. Everyone is healthy. I called the Cruise Line today and they said that since there was no vacation insurance they could only refund tips and taxes. No upgrades and no pixie dust. We booked a cruise in April so I have that to look forward to when the Dream leaves without us today.

Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts.
