We love the Hojo pool! We have one parent sit with kids at the pool while the other parent packs. They will let you use the pool even past your check out time-we just change kids in the pool bathrooms and then head to the airport.

It is $45 more total, plus the loss of breakfast which we would just bring from home. The shuttle at CCI (promise I am so not lazy) is what I liked.
Totally worth it! And you can bring breakfast from home pretty cheap!

The Hojo is great - it is what it is - I mean paper cups and all do remind you it's a 3 star hotel but it's very clean, and the kids suites (as we have a 10 year old DD and a 9 year old DS) with the bunks in one room and the KS bed in the other room are excellent. And never mind the 2 tvs so I don't have to listen to the disney channel all the time we are in the room!!

The pools is great and for your child the water playground will be great - my kids are a bit over age for it but still enjoy the water bucket spilling on them.

It is so close of a walk it is not even funny! Mimmi's is right next door so if you want to eat there join their email list and they send you coupons before you go!

I convinced our friends to stay there vs the DGC as I told her that for a week - the difference between the two hotels paid for our flight from Calgary to LA the last time we went.

Have such a great time - they are really nice there!

Thanks so much you guys. I'm feeling better and better about this. The pressure is on us parents to get these trips right for our kids. Makes planning stressful at times.

We've stayed at Hojo twice, and my daughter LOVED the kids pool that was built before our second visit. If it's only $45 total, go for it! We loved staying there.

You can't really go wrong here, the Hojo kids pool area is pretty awesome!

I'd choose CCI if the prices were the same. So, yeah, $45 more is not what I would choose.

It ended up being 80 more because we upgraded our room for a Disney view.

Sure there are places I would rather stay, but none more that my 5 and 2 year old would.
