Alamo Insiders question
Can a member of Alamo Insiders go right to the garage and pick out a car or is a car assigned to you?

Alamo Insiders must first stop at the kiosk and check in or at the counter but the kiosk is faster and then go pick out a car. Unless you do the online check in from home then you can go straight to the garage .

I've always quickly stopped by the kiosk since its much faster than the counter. It takes less than 5 mins and your off.
If you want to one person could always get the luggage (if you have checked bags) while the other goes to the kiosk and checks in.

I always do online check in so i can just get my car and be on my way

I've always used the kiosk as well (inside, located by the Alamo counter). Never a wait, takes a couple of minutes. If you've used a coupon, you can't use online check in.

I am using a coupon. I am paying with visa debit card I need to add my husband as additional free driver I'm thinking I will need to go to the counter

You will input the license number(cannot remember if that is both licenses), the coupon code (if asked) and the return information for your airline at the kiosk and will show the exit booth agent, both licenses, the debit card and the round trip proof. The kiosk will spit out the rental information and at the bottom it will tell you what the agent will need to see before you leave the garage. |

Ok so stupid question. Do I do online checkin do i can add all my info and then just go to kiosk? I have always gone to the counter so unsure of this.
