question about snacks on ddp - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm new here so forgive if I am posting in the wrong place. I am looking for suggestions on how to best use our snack credits on the DDP. This will be our first Disney trip and while I THINK I have a pretty good handle on the table service and quick service options the snacks are a little confusing. What can we get with them? How is the best way to use them? How will we know where and for what we can use them, will it be posted at each location?

This is your new friend. It is on all of the menu boards next to items which can be "bought" with a snack credit:

Also, there is a huge thread at the top of the "Dining Plan" sub-forum which has a list of snacks available.

In general, it's anything about $5 or less which is a single serving.

You can get some pretty big stuff, though, and we frequently share snacks like funnel cakes and dole whips, just because they are huge.

Everyone has their favorites, and there are literally hundreds of options all over all of the parks and the resort QS and shops.
