I bought mine on eBay for $5.00.
Can you please elaborate how this works? I've bought our local Entertainment books and I'm assuming the ones you are referring to has a hotel coupon you are using? The reason why I ask, some of our local Entertainment books don't have hotel savings in them. Does this matter?

Basically - how is having the Entertainment card linked to getting a discount?

We are looking at the Pan Pacific so a savings would be lovely. We might even move up our Alaska 2014 to 2013 if I can get comparable savings.

Thanks in advance!
Heather

Hi Heather,
If you have your local entertainment book, then you are entitled to recieve the entertainment discount where ever you travel! Hotel discounts, rental car discounts, dinning, etc.
The book has coupons you can use for your area. You can also go online and get printable coupons, as well as online discounts.
For some hotel savings , you need to call the hotel directly, ask for the entertainment discount,( as the discount code can not entered online) then show your card on arrival.
Online on the entertainment card website, I believe it's called DIRECT TO HOTEL....UP TO 50% OFF! ( most savings are about 20-25%).
We have done it many times.
Instead of buying the book for $30-$40, you can purchase just the card through EBAY, have it mailed to you and register it online when it arrives. All discounts apply! You just don't have the actual paper coupons.
As with anything you buy on eBay, you need to make sure it is a current card ( not expiring before you travel) and buy from a trusted seller.

Hope that helps!

Just wanted to add...
You might want to call the hotel first to make sure of the discount. ( only limited rooms available at a discount), then purchase the book or the card. You do not need the card making the reservation, just when checking in.

Agreed - great idea! We aren't sailing until 2014 so I have time but I'm keeping notes! We were considering switching to 2013 but we need more time to save up and get things organized so I hope this tip will save a few $$.

Thanks again,
Heather

If you have dui or dwi conviction in us

This is considered felony by Canada and will not allow you to cross the border. SO no cruise. Check before you go.

Pan Pacific was wonderful. Right over the dock on the water. I woke up early and watched the Wonder sail into the harbor (and woke up my entire family ). It was a great way to start the cruise.

My DM has mobility issues, and we were able to get a wheelchair from the Disney boarding area up to our room to take her down to the dock (she can walk, but it really hurts her back). This isn't something they really offer, but when I went down to check us in and make sure they had a wheelchair for the check-in/waiting process, a nice lady offered to go up to the room and get her! Staying even one or two hotels down the street would have been much harder for her. Something to consider if you are traveling with older parents...
