add celebration

i was just messing around with the whole map section like was posted and then went to my reservations, picked one of my adr's then clicked on view details.........at the bottom of the next page it says add celebration and it worked!

I was talking to rez yesterday and she said payments link will not be totally up and runnig for another month.

Actually, there is a way to make online payments now. You just have to go a different route that you normally would. You can log in on the www.disneyworld.com site. Then, scroll down to Order Customized Maps and click the link. You'll be directed to the customized map page but at the top left hand corner, you'll see your name and My Reservations. Click My Reservations. From there, you'll be taken to both your Resort and Dining Reservations. Click View Details on your resort reservation and from there, you can make online reservations. I've made many online payments on my package every since I found out the way around the new system.

I guess I can't make online payments because I booked over the phone..? I've gone over the steps posted in this thread, but I have no link to make payments. I guess I'll be on the phone with some lucky CM who gets to input the gift cards I have!

I booked by phone but was able to pay online using the customized maps link. Maybe try another browser or clear your cache/cookies and try again?

Did she try using the instructions I posted above? I was able to make two payments this morning using my instructions.

Losing my mind here. I've tried following the guidance provided - i went through the maps links, pulled up my reservation, clicked on details -but still don't see an option to pay online. It doesn't show a balance owed or anything. The only message I can see is "To modify, update or cancel this reservation, please contact original travel provider."

That's odd. Is it a room only reservation or did you book through a travel agent? The reason I ask is because I don't think paying online for room only reservations was ever an option. If you booked through a travel agent, they must be the go-between.

It's a package, but booked thru a travel agent. I guess I'm out of luck. How do I go about using Disney Gift Cards? Can I at least call WDW? I really hope I dont need to hand my TA a stack of gift cards. This really seems overly complicated.

Because you booked through a travel agent, Disney will not speak with you about your vacation. You'll have to go through your agent to make the payments.

Help for "Moved" Reservations

Our reservations was moved to the new site last week, and we got an email message explaining that. But now there is no option under reservation details on the new site, or anywhere else that I have found, to make a payment. When I try to workaround, going to customized maps, our reservations are no longer there, so no payment option there either. I know it's quick to make the payments on the phone, I just prefer online. Any ideas?
