I'm so excited to sail the Magic next summer. Our first (and only) Disney cruise was on the Dream last summer and I so loved that ship. I didn't think it felt crowded at all, but then we tend to do things at off times to avoid the crowds. So I am so excited that everyone seems to love the Magic even more than the Dream (my SIL says the same thing).

To the OP, I loved the Dream. Truly beautiful and an amazing experience. So I don't think you can go wrong either way!

We sailed on the Dream last June, and on the Magic this month. Overall, our experiences were very similar. To be honest, we didn't notice the bigger crowds on the Dream, since the common areas are all larger. The Dream has more technology on board, since it's a newer ship. I recently compared these two ships on a blog post: http://www.savingforadream.blogspot....-vs-magic.html

I feel the exact same way! For the amount of money we are putting into our 12 night Med cruise they could at least throw in some new bedding! I mean, its probably one of the most expensive cruises Disney offers.
