I also keep hearing about a day pass to the rainforest room at the Spa, and a pass that's good for the whole length of the trip. Does anyone know more about this? If they're offering it and/or how much it is?

Ok this one I can't help with. In 11 cruises I have never stepped foot in the spa and I never plan on it. Sorry. Wish I could help.

You could have my spot - I didn't really enjoy it. Just make sure that you know when the others are because if your at the third and last one, you'll need to swap to one earlier in the cruise.

book the brunch when you want and then switch either the brunch or the breakfast.

Thanks Nancy! I booked the brunch and will do what you advise.

I tried to help with when they are doing Mickey's Island Jam. It's in really bad code for the dates.

Thanks. The spa is not my thing. I can find plenty of free relaxing options on the ship.

Pretty sure you can book the full cruise pass online in your reservation area. I do know that the one-day pass is not typically offered onboard though, and you have to call Disney to add it to your reservation.

I did this and it wasn't difficult. Can't remember how much it was....I did the one day pass on our Dream cruise....I think it was $15-$20, but not 100% sure. I found it was a bit crowded (sometimes tough to get a heated lounger) but that's just one person's experience.

I researched it a bit before doing it - if you do a search on the main DCL forum on here, you will find LOTS of info on the rainforest room and passes.

On our WBTA on the magic I thought that it was in the realm of $150 for the whole cruise. Basically we worked it out to be around $10 per day for the longest rainforest pass. This is for an individual, not sure what the couples price was.

Ok... I have a question about bring alcohol on board. Can anyone tell me what the guidelines are or where I can find them?

You can bring alcohol on in your carry on bags only. No limit beyond what you can carry.

Full cruise Rainforest pass is not available in the spa section of the pre-booking window. You can only get that onboard. It does sell out so get it sooner rather than later.

The day pass can be pre-purchased by calling DCL (you will be charged now, unlike other spa services/excursions/Palo). It is also offered onboard, but only if the Rainforest is not full that day.

The day pass is $15, unless prices have gone up recently. In 13 cruises we have never been told they are sold out and we could not get one. We have done the length of cruise pass a few times (went to spa first day to purchase) and really enjoy going daily to the Rainforest. I remember that the 7 day cruise pass came out to be paying for 6 days - so one day free if you actually used it every day. It is so relaxing! It can get a little crowded at times, but we have never found it too crowded to stay and enjoy. You might have to wait a few minutes for a lounger to open up (and we always need two at a time since we are joined at the hip and do everything together ), but we just spend some time in the dry heat room until loungers open up. The only time we found an issue was when 2 CMs were cruising as guests and spent literally all day, every day on 2 of the loungers. They never got up that we could see! That left only 2 loungers for the rest of us to share.

I would agree that full cruise pass needs to be purchased (and used!)first day, not because sell out from my experience, but because if you wait until day 2 or 3 or 4 you are wasting money to purchase for those days you missed.

DH and I were just discussing the "sold out" Rainforest passes and crowded spa....maybe this is on the new ships with twice as many people. ??? We have only sailed the Magic and Wonder.

Another thing, am I assuming right that the wine package for dinner does not have to be booked in advance, but can also be purchased on the first night on board? We are thinking about buying the 7-night package but would like to leave the decision until we are onboard.
