I've had 13 serious abdominal surgeries, so I can't do really jerky. Everest is very smooth.

Great to know, thanks! Videos on Youtube make EE look jerky to me, which is primarily why I asked if the lap bar would be enough. Anything with a helix (where you feel like you're literally going sideways) always kinda freaks me out, but I should be fine.

Last time I went to Disney World with my mom, she did Everest and felt it was rather tame compared to the other mountains. At the time, her right side was fairly weak and she had absolutely no issues getting in and out of the ride nor with the ride itself. The lap bar locks you in fairly tight and there isn't much room to slide around once you're locked in.

It's incredibly smooth compared to BTMRR. While they're both "train" rides, my mom and I both found BTMRR way more intense and jerky than EE (and she's afraid of heights!).
