Only in 3d?

Are the movies on board in 3d only? As I don't see with one eye, I can't see 3d movies?

For movies released in 3D, they will have showings in both 3D and 2D during the cruise.

I can't see 3D either and have never had a problem finding 2D showings of the movies.

I also don't 'do' 3D movies, and while many of the movies are in 3D, they will have a few that aren't.

I saw Brave in 2D, but it was shown many more times in 3D than 2D.

One time I saw a guy wear cut-off jean shorts to dinner.

Thank you for asking this. I can't see 3D and my daughter is scared of it so I was wondering it myself.

I would think that as long as you wear the 3D glasses, you should be able to see a 3D movie just fine, although of course you'll see it in 2D if you only have vision in one eye.

The 3D effect is done with polarized lenses and two projections. If you wear the glasses, you will only see one of the projections and should be ok. If you don't wear the glasses, you'll see both projections at the same time, so it would look like a fuzzy image.

We have a family member that also only sees out of one eye. When we go to movies that are in 3D he just wears the glasses (so the movie isn't fuzzy) & sees it like he would see any normal movie. On our cruise they did a Prem-ear of Wreck It Ralph at midnight and it was only in 3D. We didn't want to miss out so we went to see it anyway & he just wore the 3D glasses and watched the movie as if it were any normal movie.

Best of luck & enjoy!
