making our plan for MaW trip

My son is going on his Make a Wish trip in the next few months (dont have dates yet but still planning) and I have seen a few people talk about touringplans.com. I looked into it and it looks like a great resource. But is it worth the money of subscribing? Or is it one of those things that looks too good to be true?

You will not need a touring plan as a Make a Wish kid you son will be given a pass that will give him front of the line access. The only way to get this pass is to be a Make a Wish kid.

I would very strongly suggest you go over to the disABILITIES Forum. One of the threads at the top is a discussion about Wish trips and GKTW. It is very informative and a support group.

The people who post there can give you much better information than any commercial touring plan as most of them are or have been in a situation similar to yours.

The disABILTIES Forum is easy to find; just go down the Forums list.

having been on 2 MAW trips with grandsons, the first thing i would do is find out where you are staying. if it is Give Kids The Worldm get the schedual from there to add to your plans. there is so much to do that you will not be able to do it all. at GKTW village Halloween and Christmas happen each week with parties for both. lots of characters stop by to visit there and my favorite is to have Mayor Clayton and Miss Merry tuck the kids in bed. plan on ice cream for breakfast at least once and also pizza delivered to your villa. all these are free plus a lot more.
