Can't agree with it, but can certainly understand the temptation. (Close family members are landlords, and tenants have cost my relatives much, much more than rent.
  )

That is so weird. The story said he was scared and just accepted it???? At 29 years old? If it wasn't a situation of "more to the relationship than tenant and landlord" I wonder if the guy was from a different country and was used to stuff like that happening????? The news never ceases to amaze me!
