Pool and lagoon view was available but for an additional 500ish dollars. We switched our stay to the Yacht club. I know they are pretty similar, but to be honest, I am bummed! The beach club feels like home and I've been looking forward to going back there since we have left! So my question is, is there any chance that there will be some cancellations and a room would open up if I keep on calling back and checking? Or am I dreaming? Any advice, opinions, is much welcome! Thanks!
It's happened for us. A few years ago my dd broke her leg and we had to change our dates. At first only YC was open. I kept calling back and checking and eventually BC opened up for our dates. Keep trying. If not, we've stayed at YC too and while BC is our very favorite, YC is a close second!

Definitely keep calling back and check. And if you can't switch to the BC before you check-in, ask to speak with one of the front desk managers at check-in. Do not do an on-line check-in. Tell the manager you had your heart set on returning to the BC and ask them if they would switch you over if there are vacancies.

Enjoy! We're bracing for the snow here in the Chicago area! Please enjoy the warmer weather and have a cocktail by the pool for all of us!

Not directly relevant to anything, but just wanted to share with my bc/yc "buddies" that droid version of my disney experience app has just been updated, and has additional features suggesting it is getting "closer" to full rollout of "my magic"/fastpass plus/etc. There is a place to link reservations (although not fully functional) and a new "notifications" section-presumably for alerts of upcoming fastpass "appointments", dining reservations, etc.

Thanks for the update. I will check it out. Mine is showing all of my dining linked.

BC MP, HH, and I'm not sure about YC anymore. You used to be able to go to Ariel's after noon.

Regarding the mde app update for droid, to be clear, for me at least, I had to go to google play store and do a manual update. Bananas again! (Still not sure what that means exactly)
