CRT Dinner with an under-3 yr old question

Hi everyone,

I know the breakfast with an under-3 yr old has been addressed, but I'm thinking of booking a CRT dinner for 2 adults, 1 5 yr old, and 1 2 yr old. We have the Dining Plan. Will I have to purchase a meal out of pocket for the 2 yr old, or does it work like the breakfast where they will bring him something for free?

Thanks,

1) No charge for the 2-year old.
2) OFFICIALLY, he eats from your plate.
3) But, like all buffets, they give him a plate.
4) They could not determine if he had his own plate, or yours.
5) So, practicality says to give him leeway.

But CRT isn't a buffet - unless it's changed very recently. It's a fixed price, but you still order an entree off the menu. I'm assuming if the 2-year old wants an entree, you would have to pay for it. I'm really hoping mine is okay with sharing for that meal, if that is indeed the case. It would be lovely if they brought him his own dinner off the kids menu free of charge, but I don't want to count on it. Unless someone has recently had that exact thing happen...

Some people have said that CRT has brought a plate of food out for their under 3 year old. We were not asked nor was food brought out for our 1 year old in October. (This was at dinner)

When we were there in Sept, they brought my 1 yr old a plate of French Toast sticks. They said that was what they were going to bring and asked if that was OK. Not sure what would have happened if I had wanted something else but there was plenty of stuff for him to eat and he was very happy with French Toast.

When we were there in November the table next to us had a lady griping to both the waitress and manager because she was told by "someone" her 2-year-old would get a free kids meal. The manager assured her they do not do that but since she had been given incorrect info, he would allow it, so unless it has changed you will have to share or buy a meal for your DC.

1) Did not say it was a buffet.
2) I said LIKE A BUFFET, referring to getting the kid's extra plate.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! At least now I will know to expect him to share food off our plates and plan accordingly

We took our 2 year old - when she was 2 many years ago. She had the time of her life - her favorite vacatio memory. Good luck.

It doesn't hurt to ask. When we were there last Sept. I had asked our server just for some extra cheese and grapes if it was possible and I did question about the meal, as when we were at Akershus the day before, we were given a complete meal for DS (2.5 at the time). I said if that wasn't the case at CRT it wasn't a problem as we would just take something from everyone's plate (the year prior he was given french toast sticks there for breakfast as well). He told me that it was up to the Chef and he would check for us. He came back and told us we could order whatever entree we liked from the kids menu for him and they did not charge us for it.

Good suggestion - I will ask!

Both of my kids went under age 3 and they were both given buttered pasta at no charge.
