They're still getting so much of it set up and running that I don't think too many folks really know what all will be involved.

I'm sure IPO will book experiences for you, if you let them know what you want.

Generally speaking, WDW is great with allergies. You'll probably do better at TS places, where the chef will come to your table. If your son's allergies are along the lines of easy to avoid foods- like strawberries- simply staying away from them may be easy enough. If they are more along the lines of your wheat allergy- i.e. an ingerdient that is common in many foods- then most certainly let the CL staff know. Usually they will have it noted on all your ADR's. (so long as they know about all yoru ADR's) If you arrive at any ADR, and STAFF doesn't mention the food allergies, tell them.

As for CL food itself, experiences do vary slightly. If again, you know certain foods are okay for you, that's often the quickest route. Staff may also offer you prepacked allergy free items- esp for things like brownies, cookies. Then again, it's possible you will be slightly left to fend for yourself. My CL allergy exp, was at GF, which went above and beyond. There the chef came to talk to the person with the allergy, and went so far as to prep specific foods, at a secific time. That may only be true at GF though. It took time to talk to the chef, and we were held to getting the breakfast food delivered rather early- i.e. when the food was prepped at 6:45am.

Also, being a DIS vet, having read a tragic post about food allegies- I'm also going to avise you to always carry your emergency meds at WDW. It might also be smart to bring along a box of something like safe granola bars to have on hand.

Last, DO look on the DISabilities section of the DIS- lots of good info there.

Thanks for the response. I think at this point we are going to take a little bit of a chance with not booking CL. I'm not really sure we could do it our whole trip anyhow, but would love to do it the last 2 or 3 nights. Maybe even a deluxe room if it was available. Unfortunately, I'm waiting to see if my MIL is going to be coming for part of our trip and it may be very very last minute that we know anything as she is caring for her ill mother. Part of if we can book will depend on if/when she is able to come and if we are going to book a second room or not. I'm afraid to book it now and then get charged a fee to downgrade later on vs. taking a chance it will be available when we go.

While I like the BC I'm open to CL at BC, YC or BW really. I'm hopeful they won't all be booked up when we arrive. I was a little surprised to find that 2 of the few deluxe CL rooms at BC have a standing room only balcony though. Man I would be so bummed to pay that much money and not at least have the balcony.

As for the allergies we have dealt with TS before when we traveled with my ODS. They were awesome. This time we have a little more to contend with now with my twins as well. Other than some fruit I'm not sure they'd eat anything at the lounge anyhow, but with the trip still 3 months out that may change.

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately, there are no meds to manage a reaction for my kids. They don't have ana reactions they just get sick and at times to the point of going into shock.

We booked YC-CL about 2 weeks ago and I'm excited (as expected). We've still got a long way to go but I'm thinking about ADR's and such. And actually, I'm thinking of letting them go and letting IPO do their magic for us. We arrive 8/23...the crowd calendars show this as a pretty slow time.

CL IPO should email you at some point. But I'd make any must-do dining reservations yourself at this point (or whenever your 180 window opens for your August trip). Late August show be good crowd-wise but that's prime free dining season.

You could call IPO and get the ball running or just make the ADRs yourself, your choice. I just wouldn't wait for them to get around to you.

We have a reservation for June at YC Club; wondering if anyone knows what kind of wine/label is offered in the evening time? We loved trying the South African wines at AKL CL and wonder if there is anything unique on offer at YC?

We have booked BC CL for mid May ( first WDW visit). I have read several posts recently about CL not having bottled water available. Has anyone stayed at BC CL lately? Are you able to grab bottled water to take with you to the park or back to your room? If not, do they have water available that I can use to refill my reusable water bottles?

Just returned from BC club level last night. They do not have bottles of water there for you to take but you can ask for them. There were always a few cast members around the concierge lounge and you just have to ask for bottled water. They are more than happy to get it for you. My husband and I each got a bottle on our way out to the parks every morning. I'm not really sure why they don't have them out except maybe they would go through so many of them that they don't have room in the lounge to store them all.

I've got a couple more days before my 180 day window opens...and I'm still working out a "plan" for what we want and when. We'll probably just book the ADRs ourselves - it's just easier.

Thank you for this information. In an effort visit all the club levels at least once time, I have booked 4 nights in March at YC CL. So far my favorite has been WL, but I really do want to try them all.

We finally booked for the Polynesian CL, this summer for our first visit since 2009. Hoping the Volcano Pool won't be closed! Combining with our first visit to Universal right afterwards!

We are getting close to our 180 dining mark. I talked to the YC/BC IPO yesterday about making our dining reservations. The women that I spoke with didn't inspire much confidence. For example, she insisted that only club level IPOs have access to making reservations at 180 days + 10 when any disney resort guest has that benefit.

Just curious how you have all done when letting the IPO make your reservations vs doing it yourself. This is our first time staying CL and while I would love not to have to get up at 3 AM west coast time to make the reservations, I will do it. We would like to make some hard to get reservations such as BoG and F! and I will make those myself if I have a better shot. Just wondering what others experience has been. Thanks so much!

I never use IPO when we stay CL, but that's just my preference. Making my own ADRs is all part of the planning for me as I enjoy doing it and I like knowing that I got everything I wanted without having to wait for someone to contact me with my list of ADRs. With that said, IPO is great if you don't have time or don't want to get online or call to make ADRs. It all comes down to what you're comfortable with .

Obviously, I've never asked the IPO to book any ADR for me.
