Are there irons in rooms on Dream?

Irons are considered a fire hazard and are not permitted in the staterooms on any of the ships. There are irons and ironing boards in the laundry rooms and guests may use them there.

irons in cabins?

Are there irons in the cabins on the fantasy or do we have to go the laundry room to iron?

Thank you in advance!

You have to go to the laundry room for an iron.

Thank you! Good to know! I hope there is a laundry room not too far away from our stateroom

Does anyone know if portable "steamers" are allowed? I took one on the Dream with no problems, and it was after I got back that I saw on here that some people posted that they're not allowed. Pretty sure when I checked the DCL list of "forbidden items", steamers aren't on it. Hoping it's ok 'cause it was a godsend the last time. And honestly, curling irons and hair straighteners would be a much bigger fire hazard IMHO.

Steamers are ok on ships, irons are not on any cruise line.

Agree and lets not make this thread about opinions and if and when someone should make them. Thank you

Not to worry at all.

The "maritime authority" attack in this case is nothing more than a self-inflated "Ex"-know nothing who has zero life and nothing better to do on weekends than come here and play his silly games week after week.

His "expertise" is extremely limited to his own imagination and even that is extremely limited in scope. Perhaps someday he will get a life and find something else to do on weekends (and weekdays), but for now we all just need to recognize his shortcomings and deal with them as they happen.

If DCL is truly worried about the safety of any items, they would be listed as things not to bring on board in spite of irrational suggestions to the contrary by imbalanced individuals posting their rambling rants on internet forums.

Thanks Doc. I actually was going to report the original post because seemed like a troll to me ... glad to know that, as always, the Mods on these boards are doing their extra-fine work to keep this a wonderful place to hang out !

Check the number of posts and don't talk to trolls.

Maryliz, my love, you are fine.

You need to report posts like that. When the person's join date is the current month, it's obvious. The mods don't have the time to look at every post on every thread, so they depend on the reports to take care of problems.

Thanks, Tessa! ... and this one is nothing except a TROLL with no ability to interact intelligently with other humans. That seems to be the only pleasure in what sad little real life he has.

For future reference, if anyone sees similar "expertise" (or lack thereof) from a relatively new poster, please use the "Report this post" function (the little triangle at the lower left of every post) instead of engaging this troubled person and inviting further comment from his irrational mind. (He actually views himself as an "expert" cruiser when he has no true experience cruising as a guest or interacting with cruise guests - so his comments are all truly swayed by his extremely immature mindset.) I can assure you he has never had ANY experience where public interaction was involved or important to his job (as evidenced by his demeanor here) or experience in any level of responsibility regarding guests onboard any Disney ship. It is certainly no surprise he is an "EX" on any cruise ship.

He has posted under many different usernames over the past months and is very rude and condescending just to cope with his personal inadequacies. Please avoid engaging his lowlife ego and just "Report" these posts.

Thanks in advance for everyone's future cooperation.
