How long does it take to get to Orlando from the port?

I hope I'm not asking too many questions but I would love to know how long it takes to get to Orlando from the port the day the cruise returns. We're planning to do some non-Disney stuff after our 4 night cruise. I read you have to be off the boat by 9am. I'm planning to stay at the Country Inn & Suites so I'll need to take the shuttle to our car there.

Which port? If you are asking about Port Canaveral, about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic, road conditions, etc.

Hi. Just curious about how you were planning on getting from Orlando to Port Canaveral, since I am thinking the same thing for my upcoming trip.

Thanks! We'll have our own car. I'm trying to plan either a light day or another park day. It sounds like we'll be fine.

I'm not the OP, but we are planning on DCL transfers to the port from MCO (we will be staying at the MCO Hyatt the night before) and then we are renting a car for the day from Budget when we disembark. We will go to DTD for the day before out 8pm flight home.

Renting the car for the day is cheaper than the DCL transfers, as we are five. The only reason I am using DCL going is pure convenience.

If you get off the ship as soon as you can you can easily do a full park day. On our last cruise we were at the parks around 9am. We had our own car and parked at the port.

This exactly! In Jan, we used DCL transport to POFQ from port. Even with waiting for bus to fill, drive time, check in time and then waiting for a bus, we were at Epcot by 1030.
