Which Pier? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Does anyone know what pier Disney will be using when they depart for the southern carribbean routes in Puerto Rico or know a way to find out (I don't mind looking myself if I knew where or how to look)?

Just so you know, the San Juan pier situation is a bit more complicated as there are three separate pier areas. The Old San Juan piers 1-6, the Pan American pier and the Navy Frontier pier. The OSJ piers, including pier 3, generally are used for ships dayporting in San Juan and the Pan American pier for ships based there. The Navy Frontier pier is not used very often.

Since the piers aren't close to each other, make sure that if you want to stay near the pier that you pick a hotel in the right neighborhood and that whatever transport you use to get to the pier takes you to the right place.

That is what I noticed when I was googling. There was more than one major pier location. I was trying to locate which one Disney would use to kinda eye hotel locations. Have a long time before we have to choose something but I wanted to browse what is out there.

There's really nothing by the Pan American Pier, so I would stay in Old Town or Condado regardless. If the ship is at the Pan American pier - just take a taxi.

I am pretty sure the Magic will dock in Old Town by the Sheraton. That's where we docked on the Fantasy Eastern cruise.
