Traveling in May to the Dolphin, wondering if there is a height requirement for the waterslide at the Grotto pool? We have a 3 year old that will want to go down the slide for sure!

Never actually been down it myself, so not sure if there's a height posted. But, it's a long windy path up to the top, so you couldn't take your child to the top AND catch them at the bottom. But it's just a winding walkway up the hill, not stairs to climb (although in or standing next to the pool, you can't see a child walking up it). But it comes out right in front of the lifeguard chair

Pretty sure there is no height requirement. My twins have been doing that slide since they were 3. If your child can't swim, you can wait in the water at the bottom of the slide to catch it. You can't go down the slide with the child.

There's also a fairly new play structure on the Swan side you child will love.

Actually, you can walk up with your child, slide down first, and catch your child at the bottom. The lifeguard at the top of the slide can help the child get set to go.

Correct. No DME. You can take a Mears van for $19/one way; $36/round trip.

We just booked a trip for BWV and trying to convince my sister and family to tag along! Dolphin would be so convenient for them!!

No DDP either -- but the location, cost, and accommodations (both at Dolphin & Swan) more than make up for the loss of those benefits!

And if it would be a family going to Dolphin, a town car might be more economical than the Mears van.

It would certainly be more comfortable!

Also, if your party is 4 or more I would look into a Towncar/Limo service. Once you hit 4 people the cost basically becomes break even, or even cheaper, plus you get a grocery stop!

When I answered, I was under the impression AimKo was going on another business trip to Dolphin!

It absolutely makes more sense for a family to get a town car -- the grocery stop is a definite plus!
