Do you think Disney will do anything special on Mother's Day? It's a sea-day for our cruise.

Our first cruise was over Mother's Day. I don't recall anything being done.

This came up on the thread for the WBPC this year as we sail through the canal on Mother's Day. People who have sailed before said there was nothing really done. Many booked Palo brunch that day to make it special themselves.

Mother's Day 2012 at Epcot - carnation
Mother's Day 2013 - Wonder Panama Canal (booked my own Palo Brunch for me and my mother)- probably a carnation

I've been in the parks several years on mothers say too and received the carnation. There were also a lot of cast members who said "Happy Mother's Day". You've gotta figure a large percentage of the population on the ship are mothers, so really there isn't much they'd be able to do for that number of people.

No carnation

you will really have to look closely to see the little touches. I was on the ship this past mother's day. They put Happy Mother's Day in the navigator, there was a cake decorated in the dining room ( just for decoration ) and the chocolate coin wrapper was imprinted with Happy Mother's Day. That was it.
