Me too, me too!!

Our first trip to WDW and Universal Orlando!

May 20-25 - I think we're staying at AoA, but it's not confirmed yet!

Hi everyone head to WDW is may!

Other posted suggested I post my problem here..

We are headed to WDW in may! YAY!!
However due to DH boss, we had to change our dates..

We had a dinner at The Be Our Guest book for may 8th at 4:20pm.. For a family of 4

I'm going to have to cancel the ressie:-( but I hate to let it go.. If someone else really wants it..

My 1st question : is it possible to switch the name and CC on the ressie?
2nd: does anyone want it?

Disney does not let you give your reservation to someone else. The most you can do is coordinate with someone so that they call when you are cancelling it but it's still not a guarantee.

I just posted this over in the Resort forum, but would like to share here as well!

My family has just booked its first Disney World vacation! We will be visiting from 5/28-6/4 and staying in the Royal Room Standard at POR. My daughter will turn 6 the week after we leave and my son will be 4. We are very excited!

Anybody have any clever ideas for surprising your kids with the news?

We are going with friends and our plan is to get the six kids together and hand them each an envelope which will contain a letter and a word. They have to put it all together and when they do it will say "we are all going together to DISNEY."

We have gone two other times with just our kids. The first time we surprised them with a little scavenger hunt with notes that contained clues all around the house. The final one was a poem my husband wrote that told them they were going.
The second time we went we told them we were flying to NY for the week. When we got to the airport we pulled them aside and acted like there was a mistake on our tickets. We asked our oldest to take a look and tell us if she saw the same thing and she then freaked when it said flight to Orlando.

I love surprising my kids. It is so much fun. Adds to the magic.

When we went the first time I also made the kids little disney countdown calendars to keep in their rooms. They loved crossing off the days.
Have fun with it.

We are going May 3-11th and would love to try to coordinate to get your reservation. There are four of us and we have tried several times with no luck. Please reply if you still have it available. Thanks and enjoy your trip.

Also wanted to add our name to the list for our trip. There are four of us, myself, DW, DS, DS girlfriend. We are staying at the Polynesian. Very excited. Enjoy listening to Live365 to get our Disney fix.

We will be at POR the 28th-7th! Our daughter turns 6 the week after we get back too. Her b-day is the 12th. The trip is for our 10th anniversary (on the 14th) and her birthday, we just did not want to go the 2nd week in June! 102 days!

How cool! Our daughters is the 11th! Our son will be 4 as well. Plus, this fall is our 10th anniversary. Both our families will have a lot to celebrate. Maybe we will run into each other at some point! Have a great trip!
