Is there alot to do for kids age 4 and 2? This cruise is on our "short list" for booking tomorrow.
Trying to decide between this and the EBTA to work with DD's kindergarten schedule (ridiculous right...it's kindergarten...and now we have to travel around her schedule ![]() )

So fun to see so many from the 2006 10/11 night Southerns! Our first cruise was the 10 night and we were hooked. We have also done the RCCL from San Juan. Very busy with just one sea day, but we were out exploring every possible minute. And loved our 2 nights in San Juan. There is nowhere in the world I would rather be than in the Caribbean, and I wouldn't miss this chance for the world. I will be moving our Fantasy Eastern first thing in the morning.

Just booked this cruise. Can't wait! Would have preferred one less port and an extra sea day, but a cruise is a cruise.

We did a 7 night Southern on SilverSea in 2007, went to St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Barbados, Dominica, Guadelupe, and the BVI. No sea days at all. St Lucia was fantastic, we did an aerial tram and zip line excursion, which was really fun. Barbados was also enjoyable. We also did the Scenic Train at St. Kitts. Unfortunately, I doubt that will be offered for the Disney Cruises as it is quite a long excursion (goes all the way around the island at a pretty slow speed)and Disney is only in port 1/2 day at St. Kitts.
We are really looking forward to Antigua and Grenada, since those we didn't visit in 2007. Moved an OBB to the 10/11/14 Southern this morning. We have been asking Disney for a Southern Caribbean out of San Juan for years, so we are really happy they are finally delivering.

(And, if these sailings would've been offered in the summer, they would be jam packed sold out (and I'm sure cost a fortune). These were very reasonably priced, too!). Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Booked on the 10/11/14! I think that offering only 4 sail dates is helping get these booked and was a wise move for Disney to try it out. And being without kids, I am liking the dates which keep the prices down.
Now just 604 days and counting!

We were very interested in the southern cruise until we found out how port intensive it was. Only one sea day is a deal breaker. While I enjoy most ports the sea days are awesome. We are on the EBTA in May. It has10 sea days!

I love sea days too that's why we are looking forward to our EBTA in May but I also don't mind Port intensive cruises if it includes new and interesting ports. That's why I booked the 10/11/14 cruise, I've never been to any of the ports except San Juan. It will be awesome to sail a Caribbean cruise without the same old "been there, done that" ports.

Loved the 11 day cruise on the wonder in 2006. We did the sugar train excursion in St. Kitts, snorkeled in Antigua and explored Barbados on our own. We went to mountaintop in Barbados and it was very nice. I think I have some links to those islands.

Have fun! We've done 3 southern Caribbean cruises, RCCL, Carnival and Princess. Enjoy the time in San Juan. On our last cruise we did one of the night kayaking tours. It's an experience not to be missed!

I am thrilled with this cruise and hope it sells well.
I don't want 4 ships out of Florida doing all the same itineraries , so if they are a success there may be hope for more options .
