Nighttime question for my daughters

How dark is it out on the ship at night time? My daughter asked if we would see a ton of stars like when you are in the middle of nowhere. I'm not sure as I have never been on a cruise before and she wants to know if she should pack her "star guide book".

And another one...have you ever seen dolphins while moving through the ocean?

How fast does the ship move?

It's possible to see stars, but there will be lights on deck, so not really well.

We've seen dolphins on our WBTA, MR, and Hawaii cruises.

The ship could be traveling anywhere from 9-18 knots, depending on how long it has to get from where it was to where it's going.

We could see stars really well. Just stay aft or forward away from the stacks and you will be able to see tons of them!
