Kona Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm trying to choose which place to take my boyfriend for tomorrow's dinner meal. I have a reservation for Grand Floridian, but there's a few times for Kona that would also work.

We haven't been to either so both would be new experiences for us. Which one would you suggest?

My choice/suggestion....Grand Floridian Cafe

I like both, and both have interesting stuff on the menu - so I think for me it would be a question of atmosphere.

Kona is in the cavernous lobby, next to Ohana, and so can be noisy and active. GF Cafe is tucked in a back corner, and is generally much quieter and calm.
