Does disney wonder reach port the night before

Our flight is only 2 hours. It's a 12 hour drive and another reservation i had was spending the money to save on the headache of travel only to spend almost as long flying if we connect. i could just stay the night in miami and catch a flight out the next morning. I appreciate all your insight. i should not chance it.

Here's the opposite question- how long can we stay ON the ship? Flight doesnt leave until 3:30pm so I'd like to stay on ship as late as possible. Do they make you get off by a certain time?

For the most part, they want you off by 9:30. By about 9:00 they start making sure those still onboard know how to get off.

Remember, they only have a short time to turn over the ship for the next cruise.

You are supposed to be off the ship by 9am.

Just know that anything can happen on any day. Do please have a back up plan. The port is almost an hour from the airport. Any delay, and you can miss your flight. What can happen? My small list (I am sure there are more out there)
1. customs delay
2. ship delay
3. getting lost
4. traffic backed up
5. traffic major crash
6. Severe Weather

We "offered" to hijack the ship once -- the captain didn't think we were serious.

OK, the problem is not CAN it happen if everything goes smoothly--it can. The problem is the "what if everything doesn't go smoothly?"

Would you consider spending another day at a hotel with the kids and then getting the non-stop flight the next day? Looks like that or the connecting flights are your options.

That's good to know that Disney books 11:30 am flights. I have an 11 am flight booked, does anyone know how long a ride it is to Miami airport? I've heard 20 minutes. We have Disney transfers, so no scurrying to get a shuttle.
