We enjoyed our trip so much this past December, we are going again December this year. Our dates are December 3 - 8 at Boardwalk Villas Garden/Water view.

I don't know exactly when they announce the line up but I noted on my timeline that I should start looking in May. I believe my research indicated they they released the information at the end of May or early June.

Random question. Do you all book with disney or with someone else. I have done it both ways & I think i want to just book right w/ disney. My only thing is how easy is it to get them to apply discounts if they come out.

I book through Dreams Unlimited...love my TA there and she keeps track of all the discounts, etc so I don't have to worry about it!

I used to use a travel gal and then started booking on my own. Now, we rent points to stay DVC 90% of the time so I deal with a fellow DISer to rent his points.

We went last May and took our Disney obsessed 4 year old son. We've booked for the week of Christmas this year to celebrate the holidays and the end of my husband's PhD coursework! I'd go for a different holiday/celebration every year if I didn't live in Oklahoma. (And I might still try to make that work, haha!)

That is totally unfair that you get to go at Xmas!! I want to go at Christmas so badly. However,I'm a little afraid of the crowd levels right at the week of Christmas. Have you booked your week?

We booked Jan 31st! We are going the 22-27, and then Universal the 27 & 28. We're driving this time. When I was scrapbooking my May '12 trip, I REALLY wanted to go again. So I started looking and researching and hinting and talked DH into it (it's all we're doing for Christmas, so). I have read every Disney Xmas blog, so I have a pretty good idea of where to go when and to escape to the resorts when the parks get crazy. The Processional! The Osborne Lights! IlumiNations! I can't wait. I think we're going to miss the Very Merry Christmas Party by a day or two, though.

Wish you could go the same week!

I'm so happy for you! I think I would be a little afraid of the crowds that week. You should start a PTR so you could tell me all about it!

Hi guys! I just sat and read through 16 pages of your forum here.

Right now we are booked December 1-7 at the Poly. We are most likely going to switch it over the AoA, mainly for the extra space. We have 11 of us going, My Dh & I (we will be 36) our 11 year old daughter, and celebrating our son's 1st birthday! We were supposed to be in Disney last year in December, the day after we were scheduled to arrive, our son arrive
In the other room is my sister & her df, his daughter 13, his son 11, her son 9 and their baby girl who will be turning 1 in January.

So glad to find you guys, & now I'm headed over to the November thread to find those fun folks too!
