Monorail
How long does it take to go from Epcot to MK on the monorail?
Do you have to change monorails to go from one resort to the other or is it direct monorail? Thanks Lisa

Figure on at least 45 minutes to get MK and that is if you hit everything perfect. Yes you have to change monorails at TTC.

You do have to change monorails from Epcot to MK. If you are going between the 3 monorail resorts (GF, Poly, Contemporary) and MK, you do not have to change.

There are three monorail lines,Magic Kingdom express monorail that only stops at the Transportation Ticket Center(TTC) and at MK,the second is the resort monorail that stops at the Polynesian resort,Grand Floridian resort,Contemporary resort, the TTC and MK.The third is the Epcot line that only goes back and forth between the TTC to Epcot,so if you're coming from Epcot you would have to transfer to the MK express monorail or resort monorail,or if you wanted you could also take the ferry over to MK from the TTC,but that probably will take longer,I usually only take the ferry after MK closes when the mob of people is getting out.
